Negative Family Factors on the Treatment of Psychiatric Patients

Abstract
|

|
The author examined the three cases of psychatric disturbances which were not treated and. frequently relapsed, and reviewed the literature of familial problems which give negative influence on the patients.
When the patient´s symptoms are improved and live with their family, they are influenced according to the intrafamilial stress and the familial attitude to the patient.
As long as, familial psychopathology is not resolved and familial structure is disengaged and enmeshed, these factors give countereffect to the patient.
So, it should be stressed that family therapy focused on the family psychopathology and dynamics.
